I come from a big dog kind of family. Unfortunately, big dogs are the hardest for shelters to adopt out. With all the fun Yogi, Tashi, Maggie (all rescue dogs), and I have, I figured we could share our episodes with the world and make it a more big dog-friendly place. -Mayka

Tibetan Mastiff Mutt (Irish Wolf Hound? Rottweiler?), 100 lbs. Adopted 2004. Was abused. Loves the family, but is slow to warm to strangers. Especially does not like men, but is learning to love the boyfriend. Our avatar mascot.

Tibetan Mastiff, 110 lb. Previously mistreated alpha female. Learning to love.
